[Bible fellowship]
At 9.23, students come together on Sunday mornings. Our youth meet together in small-group Bible study to hear relevant, life-changing messages from God's Word led by our incredible small-group leaders. This theme of "9.23" is two-fold. First of all, we want to live out Luke 9:23 that says "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (NIV). Secondly, 9.23 is the time we start on Sunday mornings.
- [discipleship]
dGROUPS exist for our discipleship purpose. We are called to "clothe ourselves" in the person of Christ, and that is the purpose of discipleship at our Deerfoot Student Ministry. dGROUPS meet at 5:00 p.m. thru-out the year on Sunday Nights!
- [worship]
Let's be honest - fellowship is great, and we're good at it. We do - FireFall on Wednesday Night's Live. Students worship through praise and worship music, games, and the Word of God taught by Stephen. Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
- [evangelism]
We are called as student believers in Christ to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19. "Go and make disciples of all nations..." We meet once a month as part of our G.R.O.W. outreach program to write cards to friends and seekers, to pray for friends and seekers, to visit friends and seekers with the goal of "making disciples." We make up the RED Team that meets on the second Tuesdays of each month at 7 PM.
- [missions/ministry]
MMP's are Monthly Mission Projects designed to reach out to our community to show the love of Christ. We visit nursing homes, participate in Habitat for Humanity, help at homeless shelters, etc. in order to show people how Christ loves them through a helping hand.
